I know I don't have an appointment, but , uh

I really needed to speak to my guidance counselor,

and not my fiancee.

 

As you know,

all I've ever wanted was to make a difference.

So they're ... they're assembling a blue-ribbon panel to improve arts educaion around the country.

I filled out the application, but I haven't sent it in yet.

 

If I were to get this..

I would have to leave McKinley for several months.

Paid for by the District,

but I'd be away from the kids.

 

You know we've been telling these kids for years to follow their dreams no matter what, so...

I'm not going to tell you to do the opposite.

 

I just don't want to do anything to jeopardize this new life we're about to begin together.
