How’s the weather tomorrow?

내일 날씨 어때?
It’ll rain. I think. You’d better take an umbrella.

비가 올 거 같아. 우산을 챙기는 것이 좋을 거야. 

What’s the weather like?

날씨 어때?
It’s been raining all day. So we had to stay inside.

하루 종일 비가 오고 있어. 그래서 우리 집안에 있어야만 했어.

like은 전치사로서 명사/동명사와 결합 가능합니다 
하지만 how는 부사라서 전치사 like과 어울리지 못합니다

what like = how
what's the weather like there? = how's the weather there?

No, I’m not. I’m from Canada.

아니요. 나는 캐니다에서 왔어요. 

Are you here on vacation?

여기에 휴가로 오셨나요?

그냥 이 빌딩 지나가다가 인사하려고 들렸어.

당신의 가족은 몇명이야?
Five. Mom dad, me, brother and sister.

다섯 명. 엄마, 아빠, 나, 남동생 그리고 여동생 이렇게 살아. 

 

 

What does he look like?

그는 어떻게 생겼어?
He is kind of tall and thin. 
그는 키가 큰 편이고, 야윈 편이야.
What is he like?

어떤 사람이야?
He is smart, kind and generous.
그는 똑똑하고, 친절하고, 관대해.
