Moths danced around the porch light.

Moth 나방 an insect related to the butterfly

 

It was mixed with yipping and yelping noises.

They huddled close together.

huddle v. gathered close together in order to stay warm

 

They whined and yelped.

whine v. 애처롭게 콧소리를 내다

 

His head and upper body were very snug now.

snug adj. 아늑한, 따뜻하고 기분좋은 someone who is sung feels comfortable, happy and warm

 

He wiggled his frozen fingers

wiggle v. to move with small movements from side to side

 

with a blunt nose

blunt adj. 무딘, 묵묵한

 

One roly-poly cub leaped onto the other.

roly-poly : short and fat

 

Then they scampered toward Annie.

scamper v. to run with quick short steps

 

The cubs whimpered louder.

whimper v. 낑낑거리다 to make low crying sounds.

 

The cubs were romping in the distance

romp v. 야단법석 뛰놀다 to play in a noisy way
