Generally speaking veer means to change direction, swerve means to change direction suddenly and sharply (to avoid a pedestrian, for example).
veer 일반적으로 방향 바꿀때 , swerve는 갑자기 방향을 바꿀때 (보행자를 피하기 위해서라든가)
